Our Story

Meet the Artisans

Every Terra 203 rug begins long before the loom — in the highlands of Colombia, where master weavers still work by hand, by memory, and by feel. What they create cannot be mass-produced, only patiently made: one fiber, one knot, one quiet imperfection at a time.

Heritage

Handmade, From Fiber to Floor

It begins with the land — sustainably harvested fique natural fiber from the Andean agave, ethically sourced wool, and the silk-soft luster of baby alpaca, each fiber gathered and prepared entirely by hand.

In small family workshops, our artisans hand-knot and handweave every piece over days and weeks, finishing select rugs with hand-forged copper and brushed steel. No two are ever alike — each carries the signature of the hands that made it.

The result is décor with the warmth of the natural world and the quiet polish that the most discerning Palm Beach designers specify for their clients.

Heritage & Craft

Craft Passed Down Through Generations

Terra 203 grew from a simple belief: that the most enduring objects are made by hand, with care, by people who have inherited their craft. Our rugs are woven by master artisans in Colombia who have practiced natural-fiber weaving for generations.

We work primarily in fique natural fiber — the sustainable Andean plant fiber at the heart of Colombian craft — alongside wool and baby alpaca. Every piece is hand-knotted or handwoven to order, never mass-produced, so each rug is genuinely one of a kind.

For interior designers across Palm Beach, Wellington, Miami, and beyond, that means a rug with a story: ethically made, sustainably sourced, and built to anchor a room for years.
